Apart from the students of PSG College of Technology, this programme will be extended to non-PSG Tech students as well. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate courses in Engineering and Sciences. Though it is meant for admission to post-graduate courses in Indian universities, some foreign universities like National University, Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and a few technical universities in Germany also use GATE scores for admission, since they find the standard of the test to be high. In GATE 2012, only 14% of the students who appeared qualified.
To quote Dr. Rudramoorthy (Principal, PSG Tech): “PSG Educational Institutions and PSG College of Technology have always stood for quiet leadership in quality education and empowerment. We are very happy that we can now extend our impact to so many more learners through our partnership with Classle.” Adding to this, Mr. Vaidyanathan (Founder & CEO, Classle) said, “At the corporate side, we would often wish that we had a thousand other PSG Techs. The wish has come true now with Classle’s technology and enablement”.
